Description: Scrubbie nylon side, grippy back side, and absorbent sponge in the middle - these kitchen sponges rock! The inner sponge is optional, and they are plenty absorbent without it (being made with cotton). The pattern is also viewable in my blog.

Difficulty: Easy (uses a variation of the afghan stitch - also called tunisian crochet)

about 4 by 5 inches or so

Materials required:
kitchen cotton, and nylon crochet thread (J.P. Coats Crochet Nylon)
G (4.25mm) hook
generic kitchen sponge measuring about 3 x 4.5 inches
